About Me 👯‍♀️

I am Deema Alnuhait, a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)🌽 , advised by Prof. Hao Peng.

My research focuses on enhancing the robustness and trustworthiness of large language models (LLMs), with a particular interest in factuality, hallucination detection, bias and toxicity mitigation, and model alignment.

Previously, I was a visiting student at Argonne National Laboratory and held internships at Amazon and Genies. Before that, I earned my **Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University**🗽, where I worked with Prof. Zhou Yu.
